How long does it take to extract data from Procore?

Answer

The Procore Extracts application downloads each item from the selected tools, functioning similar to a bulk export or download. The time it takes to complete an extract depends on several factors:

  • The amount of items and size of files being extracted.
  • The internet connection and speed.
  • Whether the operation was paused due to an interruption in internet connectivity or the computer powering off.

The Extracts application requires a stable internet connection and the computer to stay powered on to complete an extract. If your computer goes to sleep or your internet goes out, the system will attempt to retry three times before pausing the operation. Once the internet or power is restored, the extract will automatically resume where it left off.
