What is a 'sensitive field' in Workforce Planning?

Background

With Workforce Planning, you can create custom fields add information about the people or projects to keep track of. You may not want to make some information available to all users. A sensitive field is hidden and only visible to users assigned a specific permission level.

Answer

Who can see sensitive fields?

Sensitive fields can only be seen by people with permission to them in their Workforce Planning permissions template:

  • To view sensitive fields about people, users need the 'View People Sensitive Fields' granular permission in the Workforce Planning tool.
  • To view sensitive fields about projects, users need the 'View Project Sensitive Fields' granular permission in the Workforce Planning tool.

See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
