Link RFIs on a Drawing (iOS)
Objective
To add RFIs to a drawing on the Procore iOS app.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- To create or link RFIs on a drawing:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Drawings tool.
AND - 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's RFIs tool.
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Drawings tool.
- To publish markups to the Published layer:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' permissions on the project’s Drawings tool. See What is the difference between personal and published markups?
- To create or link RFIs on a drawing:
Steps
- Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
- Tap the project's Drawings tool.
- Tap the drawing you want to create and attach an RFI to.
- In the markup toolbar, tap the shape or line you want to add. See Mark up a Drawing (iOS).
- After placing the markup, tap Link.
- Tap Link an RFI.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Link an Existing RFI:
- Tap an existing RFI item to add it to the markup.
- Create a new RFI:
- Tap to create a new RFI.
- Enter the necessary information.
- Tap Save to add the new item to the markup.
- Link an Existing RFI:
- Optional: If you have 'Standard' or 'Admin' permissions on the Drawings tool and want to publish the markup:
- Tap the markup, then tap Publish.
