Below are the notable changes to Procore Search in 2020.
Updated Project Level Header for Procore Search (21/12/2020)
The Project level header within Procore has been updated to make it easier to search within a project. The Search function has been moved to the left of the Apps drop-down menu and now has a persistent search bar so that you can initiate a search even faster. Search Custom Fields for Specifications Tool (11/12/2020)
You can now use Procore Search to search for certain custom fields in the Project level Specifications tool. With this release, you can search for custom fields of the Plain Text, Rich Text or Number field types. See Search for Items Within a Project Using Procore Search.
Search Custom Fields for Additional Procore Tools (04/12/2020)
You can now use Procore Search to search for certain custom fields in the following Project level tools: Documents, Submittals, Correspondence and Site Diary (Manpower, Visitor and Notes diarys). Procore Search Now Available for the Correspondence Tool (24/11/2020)
Procore Search can now be used to search across the Correspondence tool from anywhere in the project. See What information is searchable using Procore Search?
'Comments' Field Added to Preview for Site Diary Search Results (11/11/2020)
The 'Comments' field for Site Diary entries has been added to Preview pane that appears when viewing search results for the Site Diary tool. Submittals 'Description' field is Now Searchable Using Procore Search (11/11/2020)
Procore Search can now search the 'Description' field for the Submittals tool, making it even easier to find relevant submittals. See What information is searchable using Procore Search?

You can now use Procore Search to search for certain custom fields in a project's Drawings, Incidents, Inspections, Observations and Snag List tools. Procore Search Now Available for All Major Tools in Procore (14/09/2020)
The Project level search feature, Procore Search, can now be used to search across all major tools in a project from a single location. See Search for Items Within a Project Using Procore Search.
Note: Procore Search is not yet available for all new and limited release Procore tools, such as Daywork Sheets.
Search for Items Within a Project Using Procore Search (22/06/2020)
Procore has released a new feature, Procore Search, which provides all project users with a single, consistent search experience across tools in a project. Instead of needing to search separately within each tool, you can now search for items across an entire project from one place in order to quickly locate the information you need.
