Site Diary: Enter Project Delays

Delays Section in the Site Diary

There is now a Delays section in the Site Diary tool on web, iOS and Android for logging details of any delays that might occur during the day. There is a list of default types for the Delay Type field, but users with 'Admin' permissions to the Site Diary are able to add custom delay types in the Site Diary's configure settings, as well as select which types should be available for use. Overview

The following fields are available for each entry:

  • Delay Type
  • Start Time
  • End Time
  • Duration (Hours)
    Note: This field is calculated automatically.
  • Location
  • Comments
  • Attachments

 

After you click Create, the entry is saved and assigned a number. If you want to edit any of the information, you are able to click into any of these fields to edit them and a Submit button is shown to confirm the changes. Delay entries can be deleted by clicking the Rubbish Bin icon and confirming the deletion. Please note deleted delay entries will be permanently deleted. 

To use this section of the Site Diary, it will need to be enabled in Configure Settings of the project's Site Diary tool. See Configure Advanced Settings: Site Diary.
