Updates to Incidents Tool on Web

Procore has updated the Incidents tool on the web application. Incident records and witness statements can now only be added to an incident after the incident is created.

Additional Features
  • Add Multiple Body Parts Affected to Injury/Illness Records. Users can now select one or more body parts affected by an injury or illness sustained in an incident.
  • Add Actions to Incidents. Users can now record actions taken resulting from an incident.
  • Create an Observation from an Incident Action. Users can create an observation directly from an incident action.

Adding Incident Records and Witness Statements

When adding incident records and witness statements to an incident, users will now fill in the appropriate fields for the specific record type or witness statement in a side panel.

Add Multiple Body Parts Affected to Injury/Illness Records

While creating or updating an injury/illness record, users can select multiple body parts affected by an injury or illness sustained in an incident.

Add an Action to an Incident

After creating an incident, users can record actions taken resulting from the incident. See Add an Action to an Incident. Action types can be configured in the Company level Admin tool. See Add Custom Options for Incident Fields.

Create an Observation from an Incident Action

After an action is created, users with the appropriate permissions on the Observations tool can create an observation directly from the action. Observation types can be configured in the Company level Admin tool or the Project level Observations tool. See Add Company Level Observation Types or Add Project Level Observation Types.
