New File Viewer for Attachments in the Procore Mobile App
Procore has implemented a new file viewer for tools in the Procore iOS and Android mobile applications. The upgraded viewer allows users to view markup on files and also adds support for additional file types in document, image and media files.

Below is a list of file types that are supported with the new viewer:
- Image File Types:
- jpg
- jpeg
- png
- bmp
- jfif
- heic (iOS & Android 8.0+)
- gif
- Media File Types:
- mp4
- mov
- wav
- m4a
- mpeg
- mp3
- Document File Types:
Note: Android devices will open the following file types in an external viewer:- xlsx
- docx
- xls
- doc
- csv
- pptx
- txt
- rtf
- ppt
