Started a Closed Beta Program for New Permissions Tool (28/8/2019)

BETA A closed beta program has been started for a new Permissions tool. This new tool relocates permissions management for Procore into a separate Company Level tool. This is currently being beta tested by a small group of Procore customers. An announcement will be posted when a sign up sheet for future access to this tool is generally available.

Product Management

RFIs
Prefix by Stage Updates

On projects with 'RFI Prefix Number by Project Stage' enabled, users with 'Admin' level permissions on the RFI tool can now choose which project stages can be used for prefixing the numbers for new RFIs. See How do I configure a prefix and starting number for a project's RFIs?

New Unified Experience for the RFIs Tool on Procore iOS and Android Apps

As part of larger initiative to offer the same user experience whether using the Procore app on an iOS or Android device, the RFIs tool will soon have an updated interface that is unified across both mobile apps. The new appearance features a comfortable interface with improved readability and clearly labelled action buttons. The new experience is available on iOS version 2019.0809 or later and on Android version v8.1.2 or later. See Mobile: Visual Updates to the RFIs Tool on Mobile.

ERP Integrations
Import Sage 300 CRE® Tax Groups into Procore (28/8/2019)

Procore released an update to allow companies using Sage 300 CRE® with the ERP Integrations tool to import Tax Groups into Procore. To use the feature, new Procore customers will work with an Integration Implementation Specialist to set the feature up during the implementation process. A few setup and configuration steps are required. You will also need to create one (1) or more tax groups in Sage 300 CRE®. Note that a tax group can contain multiple tax rates. Once your groups are successfully imported into Procore, Sage 300 CRE® tax groups are called tax codes and your project team members can begin adding tax codes to a variety of different line items in the Commitments and Variations tools. See Setup the Import Sage 300 CRE Tax Groups Feature.

Field Productivity
