To create a custom field that can be used on any fieldset of any correspondence.
Background
You can create a custom field in the Admin tool that can be used on any fieldset of any correspondence.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Admin' on the Company level Admin tool.

Steps
Create a Custom Field in the Correspondence Tool
- Navigate to the Company level Admin tool.
- Under 'Tool Settings', click Correspondence.
- Click the Custom Fields tab.
- Click Create.
- Complete the following information for the new field:
- Field Name: Enter a name for the field.
- Field Type: Select the type of field you want to create.
- Plain Text (Short): The field will be a free text field.
- Number: The field will allow a number value to be entered.
- Tickbox: The field will be a tickbox that can be marked or cleared.
- Single Select: The field will be a drop-down menu that allows users to select one value.
- Multi Select: The field will be a drop-down menu that allows users to select multiple values.
- Date: The field will allow the user to select a specific date from a calendar.
- Rich Text (Long): The field will be a free text field.
- Click Create.
