Link Levelled Tender Values to the Estimate

Background

Managing subcontractor tenders is now more integrated than ever, allowing you to bridge the gap between tender levelling and your final project estimate. By viewing all levelled tenders and identifying the most competitive offers, you can link specific values directly back to your estimate with a single click. This streamlined workflow ensures your estimate reflects real-time market pricing while eliminating the need for manual data entry.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' permissions to the Tendering tool
      AND
      'Admin' permissions to the Estimating tool

Steps

Tendering tool Steps

  1. Navigate to the  project's Tendering tool.
  2. Click View or the name of the relevant tender package.
    Note: You can also click the name of the tender package.

  3. Click the tender form name.

  4. Click the Tender Levelling tab.

  5. Click the Levelled Tenders view.

  6. Click the ellipsisicon-ellipsis-vertical.pngicon next to the relevant company.

  7. Select Show Tender in Estimating.

  8. A green banner will appear saying the tender is successfully showing in Estimating

  9. Click Show to go to the Estimating tool.

Estimating Tool Steps

  1. You can view the tender values in the Total Tender Value column.

  2. Once the values are confirmed, click the ellipsisicon-ellipsis-vertical.pngicon in the Tender Recipient column.

  3. Click Set as Estimate Value.

  4. The link icon-link.pngicon will turn from grey to black once the tender value is set as the estimate value.
