Below are the notable changes to the project's Main Contracts tool in 2021.

Create Custom Fields and Custom Sections for Main Contracts in the Company Level Admin Tool (07/10/2021)

Procore has added the ability to create custom fields in the Company level Admin tool for the project's Main Contracts tool. These custom fields function like other fields in Procore and can be included in reports in the Company and Project level Reports tools. See Create New Custom Fields. In addition to custom fields, Procore has added the ability to create custom sections for the project's Main Contracts tool. Custom sections allow you to group custom fields together in one or more separate, user-defined sections. Custom sections are displayed below a main contract's 'General Information' section. Opt-In Beta Program: Modernised Experience for the Main Contracts Tool (30/08/2021)

Procore has started the gradual rollout of a new beta version of the Main Contracts tool, which will be distributed to Procore customers in the coming weeks. This update modernises the Main Contracts experience. It also lays the groundwork for additional enhancements to Main Contracts in the future.  When this new beta version becomes available in your environment, you will see a blue banner at the top of the Main Contract page. During the beta phase, you will be able to freely switch between the current experience and the new beta experience. new Configurable Fieldsets for Main Contracts Tool (12/08/2021)

Users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool can now create configurable fieldsets for the project's Main Contracts tool to designate which fields are required, optional or hidden within projects. See Create New Configurable Fieldsets. ADDED 'BUDGET CODE' TO FINANCIAL MARKUP FOR ERP INTEGRATIONS (16/07/2021) 

Procore has started to gradually roll out an updated Financial Markup user interface to Procore customers using the ERP Integrations tool. This added a new 'Budget Code' drop-down list in the 'Maps To' section of the 'Add Horizontal Markup' and 'Add Vertical Markup' dialogue boxes. Added 'Budget Code' to Financial Markup (24/05/2021)

Procore has started to gradually roll out a new 'Budget Code' drop-down list in the 'Maps To' section of the 'Add Horizontal Markup' and 'Add Vertical Markup' dialogue boxes. New Contracts List in the Main Contracts Tool (15/04/2021)

The new 'Contracts' list has replaced the existing table on the Main Contracts tool. Users can no longer switch back to the former experience. For details about the new features, see About the Main Contracts Tool and Project Financials: New Contracts List in Commitments & Main Contracts.
