View Project Reports

Objective

To view all of your project's reports in your project's Reports tool. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Read Only' or higher on the Project level Reports tool.
      AND
    • Users also need additional permissions to view specific custom project reports:
      • Custom Project Reports: Financial Management Tools:
        • To view a custom project report using 'Budget' as the source, 'Admin' permissions on the Company Admin tool and 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the project's Budget tool. 
        • To view a custom project report using 'Change Management' as the source:
          • For the 'Change Event Line Item Details' source, 'Admin' permission on the project's Change Events tool.
          • For the 'Potential Variations' and 'Variations' source, 'Standard' or 'Admin' permission on the project's Budget, Commitments and Main Contracts tools. 
        • To view a custom project report for the 'Financial Line Items' source, 'Admin' permissions on all Financial Management tools. 
        • To view a custom project report for 'Owner Payment Applications', 'Admin' permission on the Main Contracts tool.
        • To view a custom project report for 'Subcontractor Payment Applications', 'Admin' permission on the Commitments tool. 
      • Programme Reports
        • To view Programme reports,  'Standard' or 'Admin' permissions on the project's Programme tool.
      • Site Diary Reports
      • To view Site Diary reports, 'Read-only' permission on the project's Site Diary tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Reports tool.
  2. To view a report, click the title of the report. Reports are categorized by the following: 
    • Project Reports: General reports that display data that span the project.
    • Financial Reports: Reports related to financials, such as budget and variation reports. 
      Note: When the Budget tool is turned "On," the Budget Forecast Report and Budget Variance Report will not appear. When the Budget tool is turned "Off," The Budget Modifications and Budget Variance Report will not appear.
    • Programme Reports: Reports related to the project's programmed tasks and changes.
      Note: Programme Reports only report on data from programme files uploaded to the Project level Programme tool and do not report on data manually entered in Procore.
    • Site Diary Reports: Reports related to different logs in the Site Diary tool. 
  3. Once you click into a report, you can not edit the report. However, you can export the report as  PDF.
