Below are the notable changes to the Project level Programme tool in 2021.
LOOKAHEADS CHANGE HISTORY ADDED TO SCHEDULE TOOL (20/10/2021)
Procore has updated the Project level Programme tool to allow users with 'Admin' permissions to view the change history of Lookaheads. Change history helps users better manage Lookaheads by showing when changes have been made and who made the change, see View the Change History of Lookaheads.
IMPROVE VIEWING OF MULTIPLE RESOURCE SCHEDULE ACTIVITIES ON IOS (27/07/2021)
Procore has improved the efficiency of finding programme activities for users on iOS. With the release of latest version of the iOS app, when a programme activity has multiple resources assigned and a resource filter is applied containing one of those resources, the programme activity with multiple resources will show up in the filtered list.
LOOKAHEAD SUBTASKS INHERIT KEY DATA FROM FIELDS IN MAIN TASK (07/07/2021)
When a user creates a subtask on a lookahead programme, the subtask will now automatically include data from the 'Resources', 'Company' and 'Assignees' fields (if data exists in those fields on the main task). See Add and Manage Subtasks for a Lookahead Programme.
SORTABLE LOOKAHEAD COLUMNS (16/06/2021)
Programme tool users can sort all of columns when viewing a Lookahead programme on the Project's Programme tool. Columns can be sorted from high to low or low to high, see View Lookahead Programmes.
ACTIVITY ID AND WBS ADDED AS CONFIGURABLE COLUMNS IN LOOKAHEADS (03/06/2021)
Users now have the flexibility to configure Lookahead columns to show Activity ID and WBS information for newly created Lookahead, see Create a Lookahead Programme.
CONFIGURE GANTT CHART COLUMNS IN THE PROJECT SCHEDULE TOOL (14/05/2021)
Users now have the flexibility to configure all columns on the Gantt chart to their liking. Configuring the columns from the configure drop down allows users to dictate what order the columns show on the Gantt chart. Previously, the Task Name column was locked into the the first position, see Configure Columns.
SORTABLE COLUMNS IN GANTT VIEW (17/02/2021)
Columns in the Gantt view on web can now be sorted within Procore. When you click on a column it will sort the values in that column from low to high or from high to low.
ADDED 'LOOKAHEADS' SOURCE FOR CUSTOM COMPANY SCHEDULE TASKS REPORTS (16/02/2021)
Procore has added 'Lookaheads' as a source option you can use when creating custom company reports. See Create a Custom Company Report.
NEW GRANULAR PERMISSIONS FOR THE PROJECT LEVEL SCHEDULE TOOL (11/02/2021)
Procore has added new granular permissions for the Project level Programme tool to allow users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on the tool to complete various tasks. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Project Permissions Template.
ADDED 'LOOKAHEADS' SOURCE FOR CUSTOM PROJECT SCHEDULE TASKS REPORTS (09/02/2021)
Procore has added 'Lookaheads' as a source option you can use when creating custom project reports. See Create a Custom Company Report and Create a Custom Project Report.
PROCORE LOOKAHEADS FEATURE NOW AVAILABLE IN THE SCHEDULE TOOL (09/02/2021)
Procore has released its new Lookaheads functionality within the project level Programme tool. This feature allows users to create programme subtasks based off their integrated master programme file. Lookaheads operates separate from the master programme file and modifications to a Lookahead do NOT impact an integrated master programme. Lookaheads can be created to range from 1-6 weeks.
