Best Practices for Tender Room Collaborators in Portfolio Financials

 Note
This information is intended for accounts with Portfolio Financials product in Procore. Please reach out to your Procore point of contact for more information.

If you are a collaborator specifically working on tenders in the Portfolio Financials product in Procore, here are some helpful tips to help you get started collaborating on projects:

  • After you are added as a Tender Room collaborator, you will receive an email alert when there is activity related to a project you are working on. You can also log in to Procore at any time to view the latest updates or share new materials.
  • Once you are logged into Procore, you will need to select the appropriate project from your dashboard and select the Tender Room. All actions you take in Procore will be within the Tender Room in Portfolio Financials.
  • Key actions you are likely to take in the Tender Room:
    • Sharing documents:
      • The Trade Setup page is where you can upload documents to share with tenderers. See Complete the Trade Setup Page for a Tender Room. Anything uploaded to the Documents area is immediately made available to all tenderers and triggers an email notification. The system accept files of all types and sizes to make it easy for you to disperse the necessary material.
    • Managing RFIs:
      • When a tenderer sends in an RFI through Procore, you will receive an accompanying email with the content of that RFI. Within the RFIs tab of the tender room, you can view the full log of all RFIs that have been submitted. All tenderers will be notified via email once a response is posted and will be able to see the original question along with the response. See Export RFIs from a Tender Room.
