Can I copy estimates from the Estimating tool to a new project?

Background

Instead of having to create new estimates from scratch on each project in Procore, you can automatically copy over existing estimates to new projects using a project template.

Answer

Yes. Any estimates that exist in the Estimating tool of your company's project template can be copied over to a new project in Procore.

 Important
Data in the Quanity columns of estimates will NOT be copied over to new projects.

When creating a new project, you will need to select the relevant template from the Template drop-down menu as shown below. See Create a New Project.

After creating a new project in Procore using a project template, all estimates will be available in the Estimating tool of the new project.
Note: If you create a new project without using a template, the Summary data is copied over from the most recently created project.
