Why does Procore stop supporting older versions of iOS and Android?

To use the Procore App on your mobile device, you must be using a supported operating system and version of the Procore App. Every year, the versions that are supported change as new versions are released.
Answer
Apple and Google regularly update their operating systems for iOS and Android devices, creating new versions with new features, improved functionality and increased security. Every year, Apple and Google stop supporting older versions of their operating systems to focus on newer versions. When that happens, some older devices can no longer be updated and a newer device is required.
Similarly, the Procore App is regularly updated with new versions that include new features, improved functionality and increased security. While Procore continues support for each version of the app for approximately one year, we recommend that you update your app regularly for the best experience.
Note: You may need to update your device’s operating system before you can update your Procore App.
