Add Snag List Items to a Drawing (Android)

Objective

To add a snag list item to a drawing using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • To add snag list items to a drawing: 
    • 'Read Only' permission or higher on the project's Drawings tool.
      AND
    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the project's Snag List tool.
      Note: While 'Standard' level users can create snag list items, they cannot assign a snag item unless they have been granted special permission to act as the Snag Item Manager. 

• This asset or item can be viewed or edited in offline mode if it was previously viewed and cached on your mobile device. Tasks performed in offline mode sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished. 

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Drawings tool using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.
2. Locate the drawing that you want to add a snag list item to.
3. Tap the drawing.
4. Tap the punch pin markup tool in the markup toolbar.
   
   
    
5. Tap the area of the drawing that you want the snag list item to reference.
6. After the pin has been added, you will be prompted to either add an existing snag list item or you can add a new snag list item.
   • To create a new snag list item to add to the drawing:
     1. Select the template you want to use, or tap 'Create Punch Without a Template'. See Create a Punch List Item (Android).
     2. Fill in the fields as necessary.
     3. Tap Save.
   • To link to an existing snag list item:
     1. Tap Link Existing.
     2. Tap the snag list item that you want to link to the drawing.
7. After the snag list item has been synced to the drawing, the tag will display the number of the item (e.g. "500").
   Note: A blue snag pin denotes an open snag list item, while a grey snag pin denotes a closed snag list item.
