Activate or Deactivate Cost Catalog Items
Objective
To activate or deactivate Material Catalog items for projects in Procore Estimating.
Background
Since materials can vary from one project to another, you can choose to activate or deactivate specific materials for future projects.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Cost Catalog tool.
- Additional Information:
- If you deactivate an item that is being used on a project, the item will still appear in that project.
Steps
To Activate an Item for Projects
- Navigate to your account in Procore Estimating.
- Click the Company Tools drop-down menu and select Cost Catalog.
- Locate the item that you want to activate.
- Click the toggle to the ON
position.
To Deactivate an item for Projects
- Navigate to your account in Procore Estimating.
- Click the Company Tools drop-down menu and select Cost Catalog.
- Locate the item that you want to deactivate.
- Click the toggle to the OFF
position.
