Export the Assignments Gantt

Objective

To export the Assignments Gantt in Workforce Planning.

Background

The Assignments Gantt allows you to view workforce requests and workforce assignments across all projects and people within your company. It also provides a multi-day view from one (1) day up to three (3) years. You can search and filter the Assignments Gantt and export it as a to the supported format.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool and 'Admin' level permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
    OR
    'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool with the 'View Assignment' and 'Allow Exporting Data' granular permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
• Supported File Formats:
  • Portable Document File (PDF)
• Additional Information:
  • You can search or filter before you export. Your export reflects what is currently displayed on the Assignments Gantt.

Steps

Follow these steps once you have configured your columns, sort order and filters:

1. Click the Export  icon.
2. Select Portrait or Landscape.
3. Optional: If you want each project to print on its own page, mark the Page Break Between Projects tickbox.
4. Click Export.
   Note: If a report does not immediately download, you can check the status by navigating to Reports and Queued Downloads.
