Clone a Change Event
Objective
To clone a change event so you do not need to manually recreate it.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permission: 'Admin' on the project's Change Events tool.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Change Events tool.
- Locate the change event using one of these options:
- Click the Detail tab. Then click the change event link that you want to work with.
OR - Click the Summary tab. Then click the View button.
- Click the Detail tab. Then click the change event link that you want to work with.
- Click the Clone button.
You will be taken to the cloned change event with the following information copied over from the first change event:- Type
- Description
- Attachments
- Title
- Scope
- Change Reason
- Cost Code
- Cost Type
- Description
- Vendor
- Contract
