Set a designated reviewer on a potential variation

Background

You can now set a designated reviewer directly on a potential variation. This update provides greater flexibility by allowing you to assign specific reviewers at the individual potential variation level, rather than relying solely on the default reviewer set at the main contract variation level.

Things to Consider

  • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Main Contracts tool.

  • Setting a designated reviewer on a PV overrides higher-level reviewer configurations for that specific workflow item.

Prerequisites

  • Enable the new experience interface for the main contract tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's main contract tool.

  2. Find the contract for which you want to set a designated reviewer.

  3. In the Number column, click the link to open it.

  4. Click the variations tab.

  5. Select the potential variation you want to update.

  6. Click Edit.

  7. Select a reviewer from the designated reviewer drop-down menu.

  8. Click Save.

Note: Assigning a designated reviewer at the PV level ensures that custom workflows apply to that specific potential variation without altering the reviewer setting on the main contract variation.
