Why can't I delete certain saved views in the Document Management tool?

The Document Management tool is currently in a Limited Release (Beta). It is not yet available for Procore accounts in the United States. For more information, please reach out to your Procore point of contact.

Background

If you have 'Admin' permissions to the Document Management tool, you can create, edit or delete saved views for the project. See Create a Saved View in the Document Management Tool. However, you can't delete or rename the system-provided 'Drawings' and 'Specifications' saved views.

Answer

The 'Drawings' and 'Specifications' saved views are system-provided views that are included in the Document Management tool. You can change the filters for these views, but you can't rename or delete them. See Edit a Saved View in the Document Management Tool.

These saved views are intended to make it easier for collaborators to quickly find and access drawings and specifications without needing to create a separate view for each project.
