Why isn't my project weather working?

Answer

At this time the PWS/WeatherUnderground integration is no longer available. If you are still in need of a PWS, Procore recommends WeatherBuild who's  offering a 3 month free trial of their integration and works well with PWS systems.

 Note
Weather for the project will not show if geographic coordinate system (GPS) coordinates have not been entered for the project's address. A Project Admin can enter coordinates in the Latitude and Longitude fields in the project's Admin tool. See How do I determine the latitude/longitude values of an address? and Update General Project Information.

If coordinates have already been added to your project and you are still experiencing an issue with your project's weather forecast, you can check the status page of your third-party weather provider using the links below. If a status issue is not being reported and you are still experiencing an issue, please contact Procore Support

The weather forecasts on Procore's Project Home page and the project's Site Diary tool support data from the following third-party weather provider:

  • Tomorrow.io (formerly Climacell)

By default, Procore uses icon-external-link.png Tomorrow.io to predict and record weather for projects. This service takes a number of data sources from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and other agencies and uses a proprietary algorithm to provide hyper-local weather data. Procore provides its users with a daily forecast for each day on the Project Home page and in the Site Diary tool. It also stores the weather data indefinitely for future reference. Weather data is updated every hour.
