Edit a Site Diary (Android)

Objective

To edit an existing entry in the Site Diary tool using the Procore app on an Android mobile device. 

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • To edit any entry on a day that has not been marked as complete:
    • 'Admin' on the Site Diary tool.
  • To edit your own entry on a day that has not been marked as complete:
    • 'Standard' on the Site Diary with the 'Standard Users Can Edit and Delete Own Entries' granular permission enabled on your permission template. 
  • To edit your own entry that has not been approved:
    • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' on the Site Diary tool with the 'Collaborator Entry Only' granular permission enabled on your permission template.
• Additional Information:
  • This action can be performed in offline mode if the asset/item was previously viewed and cached on your mobile device. Tasks performed in offline mode will sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished. 

Steps

1. Navigate to the Site Diary tool using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.
2. Tap the date to select the calendar day for which you want to edit a diary entry.
3. Tap the log category that contains the diary entry you want to edit.
4. Tap the item that you want to edit.
5. Tap the Edit    icon.
6. Edit the appropriate fields of the diary entry.
7. Tap Save.
