Search for Items Within a Project (iOS)

This article describes how to use the search bar on the Project Overview screen to search for items across the project. To see information on how to search for and filter items in a specific tool, click on that tool in the Procore iOS User Guide. 

Objective

To use the Project Search bar to search for items within a project on the Procore iOS app.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read Only' or higher permissions to one or more tools in the Procore project.
      Note: You can only search for items that you have permissions to view. 
  • Additional Information:
    • Project Search is not available in offline mode.
    • The following tools or items are not yet supported by Procore Search on web or mobile:
      • Action Plans
      • Conversations
      • Inspection Programmes
    • The Directory and Correspondence tools are not yet searchable on mobile.

Steps

  1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Select the project you want to search in.
  3. At the top of the Project Overview screen, tap search icon-markup-search.png 
  4. Tap the top bar to enter your search terms.
    Relevant results are automatically shown.
  5. Filter options:
    • Tap Tools and select one or more tools to include in the search results. Then tap Apply. 
    • Or, tap Clear Filters to remove any applied filters.
