Tasks

MODERNISED Tasks Experience

Procore has released several design and performance updates to the Tasks tool. These updates provide users with a more consistent and optimised experience when searching, navigating and creating Tasks, as well as when updating settings, making comments or changing the status of a task.

Preconstruction

Tender Board

CONFIGURABLE ESTIMATING VIEWS

Configurable estimate table view templates can now be created in the Tender Board company settings and applied to estimates. This enhancement allows users to define and save specific column configurations that can be applied across different projects. See Configure Settings: Tender Board.

ESTIMATING CONCURRENT USER ACCESS

With this update to the Estimating tool, multiple users are now able to view changes made to takeoffs and estimates as they happen in real time, without needing to refresh the page. When takeoffs and estimates are updated by users from more than one device, screen or browser tab, the changes will be seen by everyone simultaneously. These real time updates also occur between takeoffs and estimates. For example, changes to sq ft amounts on a takeoff will update in the estimate table as they are made. This functionality enables teams to collaborate on estimates with greater efficiency while also giving individual users more flexibility to work between browser windows or multiple monitors.

Invite Canadian Businesses on the Procore Construction Network to Tender

Users can invite Canadian businesses to place a tender on their projects using the Tendering tool. See Add Tenderers from the Procore Construction Network to a Tender Form.

Inspections

INSPECTIONS FIELD ACCOUNTABILITY VALUE RELEASE

You can now do the following with inspection line items: require a photo and/or observation based on selected responses, add references such as attachments on company level templates and lastly, you can now add signatures to an inspection line item. These updates to the Inspections tool focus on enhancing flexibility, granularity and accountability. See Create a Company Level Inspection Template.

Improved Commitment Process with Sage 300 CRE®

Commitments are now posted automatically during the transmission process for a more streamlined export experience. Previously, commitments had to be posted manually, which created many disruptions. This update requires Sage 300 CRE® 23.2 or greater. Contact your Procore point of contact to get started today.

Payment Applications

Variation Titles Now Display on Owner Payment application PDFs

Now, when you export owner payment application PDFs, you will see the complete titles of your variations, not just the numbers, bringing clarity and ease to your payment applications process. Before exporting, simply apply the Main Contract Variation, Potential Variation, or Variation Request options to the Bill of Quantities using the 'Select Groups to Display' menu for both the 'Industry Standard' and 'Custom Configuration' column views. Improved Subtotals Display on Owner Payment application PDFs

To enhance the consistency and clarity of continuation sheets on exported owner payment application PDFs, Procore updated group subtotals to appear at the bottom of each group, instead of at the top within the row group heading. Additionally, any extra groupings were also displayed at the bottom, aligning with industry expectations for a cleaner, more organised presentation. Create a Labour Plan

Creating a labour plan helps to visualise you labour and forecasting needs and allows you to simplify project setup by bulk creating workforce requests. You can create a labour plan from the Project Details and Assignments Gantt. After you have created your labour plan and filled your workforce requests, you can make adjustments to your plan by shifting your project or using the Assignments Gantt. See Create a Labour Plan.
