Delete a Permission Group in the Document Management Tool

Objective

To delete an existing permission group in the Document Management tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' level permissions to the project's Document Management tool.

Steps

 Caution
When you delete a permission group, any parameters set for the individuals who were assigned to that group are automatically removed. You may want to consider creating a new permission group or editing an existing one to add the affected individuals to before deleting the permission group. See Create a Permission Group for Documents or Edit a Permission Group for Documents.
  1. Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.
  2. Click the Configure Settings icons-settings-gear.png icon.  
  3. In the 'Permission Groups' section of the Permissions tab, locate the permission group that you want to delete.
  4. Click the delete icon-delete-trash6.png icon.
  5. To confirm you want to delete the permission group, click Delete.
