Below are notable changes to the project's Meetings tool in 2017.
Added Inline Editing For Meeting Minutes (27/11/2017)
When viewing a meeting, users with the appropriate permission can now perform inline editing on minutes by clicking the Official Documented Meeting Minutes field and then clicking Save. The Copy from Previous option has also been removed. This is no longer needed as the user can now see previous minutes and use a copy-and-paste operation to copy previous minutes.
Updated Message Confirming Delete Actions On Meetings (21/11/2017)
When deleting a meeting, updated the warning message text so it now reads: "Warning: Deleted meetings cannot be recovered. Do you still want to delete this meeting?"
Updated Distribution Warning Message To Specify If Agenda Or Minutes (30/8/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to change the warning message when distributing agendas/minutes to be more specific by stating whether the user is distributing minutes or the agenda.
Added 'Priority' To Old/New Business Meetings PDF (12/7/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to add the "Priority" column to the PDF for meetings in old/new business mode.
Added Configuration Setting 'Use Meeting-Wide Numbering' (7/7/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool by adding a setting in the configuration settings page called 'Use meeting wide numbering' so users have the option to use the old meeting-wide numbering system.
Renumbered Agenda Item Topics (23/6/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to change how meeting agenda item topics are numbered and added numbers for each category. The agenda number now represents "(category position).(item position)" (e.g., If an item is in category 3 and 4th on the list, the number will be 3.4). These numbers will update/change when items or categories are rearranged so they will always be in numerical order. Note: This new numbering will not affect Old/New Business Mode.
Added 'Meeting Origin' Column (23/6/2017)
Added a new column, 'Meeting Origin', to show what meeting number the meeting item originated from.
Added In Time Drop-Down Lists And A New Timezone Field (6/6/2017)
Updated the Project level Meetings tool to change the start/finish times fields to be drop-down lists and added a new "Timezone" field.
Updated Meetings Page In The Meetings Tool (12/5/2017)
Updated the Project level Meetings tool to add a new 'Current Meetings' view. This view shows the user the most recent meetings in each series. In addition, a new vertical ellipsis (⋮) icon at the right-side of the table is named 'More Options'. When users with 'Admin' level permission to the Meetings tool click this icon, the system displays a shortcut menu with additional meeting options (e.g., Delete Meeting). There is also a new 'All Meetings' view that organises meetings into sets that expand and collapse when you click the arrow button next to the Meeting Name. If the most recent meeting in a series is in Minute Mode, a Follow-up button is also available. Finally, the Search and Add Filter fields are now at the top of the Meetings page.
Updated Meetings With Minor User Experience Adjustments (10/5/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to make some minor cosmetic adjustments to the Edit and View pages for meetings and meeting items.
Updated The Assignment Drop-Down List In The Meetings Tool (10/5/2017)
Updated the Assignment drop-down list on the create, edit, add item and edit item pages of the Meetings tool so that when a user starts typing a name, the searches the Project Directory for possible matches. See Add a Meeting Item.
UX Improvements To Meetings/Meeting Topics Edit And View Pages (10/5/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to make some minor UX adjustments to the Edit and View pages of meetings and meeting topics.
Updated Assignee Drop-Down List In Meetings Tool (10/5/2017)
Updated the Assignee drop-down list on the create, edit, add item and edit item pages of the Meetings tool so it now uses the same one as the Distribution drop-down in the RFI's tool. This lets meeting organisers search for matching users when selecting assignees.
Added Previous Meeting Minutes Table To Meeting Item View Page (9/5/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to show a table history of previous meeting minutes when you view a meeting item.
Added A Recycle Bin To The Meetings Tool (9/5/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to add a new Recycle Bin view. There are now two (2) views for users with 'Admin' permission to Meetings: "Items" and "Recycle Bin". The Recycle Bin view is NOT visible to users with 'Standard' and 'Read Only' level permission. For now, the Recycle Bin view is read-only and meeting can neither be edited nor restored from this view.
Create Meetings From A Template (2/5/2017)
Procore Administrators can now create reusable meeting templates in the company's Admin tool (see Create a Meeting Template). This provides meeting administrators with the ability to create new meetings based on those templates in the project's Meetings tool. See Create a Meeting from a Template.
Added A New Follow Up Button In The Meetings Tool (21/4/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to change how follow-up meetings are created. The create meeting button now takes you straight to the create page for a new meeting and the list page now has a button that says "Follow-up Meeting". Create Custom Meeting Reports In The Reports Tools (21/4/2017)
If your company has enabled the Reports tools (either at the company level or on a project), you can now create custom reports that includes data from Procore's Meetings tool. For details, see Create a Custom Company Report or Create a Custom Project Report.
Added Previous Meeting Minutes To Follow Up Meetings In Agenda Mode (7/3/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to add "Previous Meeting Minutes" to follow up meetings that are in Agenda mode. Previously, the only way for users to see previous meeting minutes was to convert their meeting to Minutes mode, then add minutes, then copy the minutes from the previous meeting. Now, users can see the meeting minutes from the most recent meeting before entering minutes mode.
Meeting Category Drop-Down Now Alphabetized (1/3/2017)
Updated the 'Add a Meeting' item window to alphabetise the options in the Category drop-down list. This makes it easier to find and assign new items to a meeting category. See Add a Meeting Item.
Changed 'Business Item' To 'Meeting Item' (7/2/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to change the title of a window that appears when a user clicks the "Add Item" button. The title has changed from "Add a Business item" to "Add a Meeting Item". See Add a Meeting Item.
Improved Button Spacing Between Cancel And Save (3/2/2017)
Added some additional space for padding between the Cancel and Save buttons in the Meeting Overview's inline editor for the Meetings list.
Updated 'Meeting Name' Behaviour In Meetings Tool (1/2/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to fix a user-reported issue where a Meeting Name was changed. The new name displayed as expected in the 'Meeting Agendas/Minutes' page, but the former name would appear when in View mode. Now, users must change a Meeting Name in edit mode and the Meeting Group header will reflect the most recent Meeting Name as expected. Note that the Meeting Group header can no longer be edited inline.
Added Collapse/Expand To Meetings List Page (18/1/2017)
Updated the Meetings tool to add collapse/expand. Now, meetings that occur prior to the current day (i.e., today) will be collapsed by default on the Meetings list page. See View a Meeting.
