Move Photos
Objective
To move individual or multiple photos into a different photo album.
Background
There are times when photos may need to be moved to another photo album. For example, when photos are emailed into Procore using a project's unique email address (e.g. upload-1234-project-name@procoretech.com), they are automatically placed in the project's 'Unclassified' folder. The email address is especially useful for giving project collaborators the ability to upload photos to a project, even if they do not have access to the project's Photos tool. Additionally, photos uploaded from the mobile app will default to the 'Unclassified' album if another album is not selected.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Admin' permissions on the project's Photos tool.
- Additional Information:
- The photo album where you want to move photos to must already exist. See Create a Photo Album.
- Each project contains a 'Unclassified' photo album that cannot be deleted.
- Photos cannot be moved to albums in different projects. However, photos can be downloaded in bulk and then uploaded into another project. See Download Photos and Upload Photos.
Note: For a large amount of photos, Procore recommends using Procore Drive. See Download Photos/Albums in Procore Drive and Upload Photos to an Album in Procore Drive.
