New 'Budget Changes' Feature for Change Management- Phased Release Complete
On Monday, October 17, 2022, Procore completed the phased release of the migration process to support Procore's new Budget Changes feature. The new Budget Changes feature is designed to replace the existing budget modifications function in the Budget tool. To support our customers in their long-range planning processes, Procore is providing users with ample notice of the need to your migrate budget modifications data to the new budget changes format before October 2023. To learn more about this feature, see Budget: New 'Budget Changes' Feature for Change Management in Project Financials. Please be sure to also read the Important information documented in Common Questions.
Change Events
Add CHange Event Line Items From Variation Sov
You now have the option to create Change Event Line Items from the 'Change Event Line Item' field on a variation's bill of quantities. See Link a Bill of Quantities Item to a Change Event Line Item.
Budget Codes Syncing Across Change Objects
Change event line items associated with variations will now be editable as long as the variation is also in an editable state. How are line items and budget codes updated across change objects?
ERP Integrations
NEW! Received Date Syncing for Direct Costs in Procore with the ACUMATICA CLOUD ERP CONNECTOR
With Received Date syncing for the Direct Costs tool, users can now enjoy the added benefit of using the pre-fill function in Owner Payment applications to pull in Direct Costs with a Received Date that falls within a payment application's selected billing period. This function was previously unavailable because the pre-fill function requires a date entry to determine if a cost falls within the relevant billing period.
To learn more about the details of this function, see Project Financials + Acumatica Connector: Received Date Syncing for Direct Costs in Procore.
