Bulk Edit Workforce Requests
Objective
To bulk edit workforce requests in Workforce Planning.
Background
Workforce requests are an efficient way to let your team know that you need a workforce resource for a particular project. You can create a workforce request when you need a resource but aren't sure who to assign or if you do not have permissions to create assignments yourself. You can edit workforce requests at any time.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool and 'Admin' level permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
OR
'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool with the 'View Request', 'Create/Edit/Delete Own Requests' and 'Edit/Delete Others Requests' granular permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.

Prerequisites
Steps
You can bulk edit assignments from the Assignments List.
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Requests and select Requests List.
- Mark the tickboxes for the requests you want to edit.
- Click Batch Actions.
- Select the request information you want to edit:
- End Date. Enter the date the work assignment ends for the selected request(s).
- End Time. Enter the time of day the work assignment ends for the selected request(s).
- Job Title. Select the job title needed for the assignment associated with the selected request(s). See Configure Job Titles for Workforce Planning.
- Percent Allocation. Enter the percent allocation for the requests. See What is a Workforce Allocation Type?
Note: Alternatively, you can edit the 'Start Time' or 'End Time'. - Project. Select the project associated with the assignment(s) for the selected request(s).
- Start Day. Enter the date the work assignment starts for the selected request(s).
- Start Time. Enter the time of day the work assignment starts for the selected request(s).
- Status. Select a status to apply to the selected request(s). See Configure Assignment and Request Statuses for Workforce Planning.
- Tags. Select the tags to apply to the selected request(s). See Configure Tags for Workforce Planning.
- [Custom Fields]. Enter information for any custom fields configured for requests. See Configure Custom Fields for Workforce Planning.
- Click Save.
