Edit Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning

Objective

To edit permissions templates for Workforce Planning.

Background

In Procore, role-based permissions are used to manage user access to different Procore tools. In Workforce Planning, additional permissions templates give access to different actions within the Workforce Planning tool. There are four standard permissions templates in Workforce Planning. You can use these permission templates, or create your own based on the available granular permissions. You can edit these templates at any time. See What granular permissions are available for the company's Workforce Planning tool?

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
  • Users can only be assigned one permissions template in Workforce Planning.
  • The 'Admin' template cannot be edited or deleted.
  • You can click the Info icon-info-black-ios.png icon next to each granular permission to see details.
 Important

To access the Workforce Planning tool, users must also have 'Read Only' level permissions or higher to the Workforce Planning tool. This is set by creating and applying a permission template in Procore's Permissions tool.
