View Activity about a Person in Workforce Planning
Objective
To view activity related to a specific person in Workforce Planning.
Background
In Workforce Planning, you can manage information about the people in your workforce such as general information, notes and attachments. You can also manage their workforce assignments and time off. You can view a history of all of these activities for an individual person on their Details page of the People List.
Note: To see a summary of this information across your entire workforce, View the Activity Dashboard.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool and 'Admin' level permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
OR
'Read Only' permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool with the 'View People' and 'View People Activity' granular permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.- To see activity related to Tags, you also need the 'View People Tags' granular permission.
- To see activity related to Attachments, you also need the 'View People Attachments' granular permission.
- To see activity related to Notes, you also need the 'View People Notes' granular permission.
- To see activity related to Time Off, you also need the 'View People Time Off' granular permission.
- To see activity related to Assignments, you also need the 'View Assignments' granular permission.

Prerequisites
Steps
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click People and select People List.
- Locate the user record to modify. Then click their name.
- Locate the 'Activity' section and select the tab for the information you want to see:
- All. All activity for the person including assignments, attachments, changes to their personal information, notes, tags or time off.
- Assignments. Activity related to the person's workforce assignments. See Create a Workforce Assignment.
- Attachments. Activity related to the person's attachments. See Manage Attachments for People in Workforce Planning
- Info. Activity related to the person's personal information. See Edit People in Workforce Planning.
- Notes. Activity related to the person's notes. See Create Notes about People in Workforce Planning.
- Tags. Activity related to the person's tags. See Add or Edit Tags for People in Workforce Planning.
- Time Off. Activity related to the person's time off. See Create Time Off in Workforce Planning.
