Edit Revisions in the Document Management Tool

The Document Management tool is currently in a Limited Release (Beta). It is not yet available for Procore accounts in the United States. For more information, please reach out to your Procore point of contact.

Objective

To edit revisions for documents in a project's Document Management tool.

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.
  2. On the All Documents tab, find the document that you want to edit revisions for.
  3. Click the value in the Revision column.
  4. The following actions are available in the Revisions panel:

Edit Revision Information

  1. Click into the field that you want to edit.
  2. Edit information for the revision as necessary:
    • Revision: Click to edit the revision number or letter.
    • Status: Click to select a different status for the revision.
    • Date Authored: Click to edit the date that the revision was authored.
  3. Click Save.

Reorder Revisions

  1. Hover over the grip icon-reorder-grip.png icon for the revision that you want to move.
  2. Click and drag the revision up or down to reorder and release to drop the revision in its new place.
    This automatically updates the revision numbers with the new order. The revision on top of the list will show '(Latest)' after the revision number to indicate that it is the most current revision.
