View Project Summary Report

Objective

To view a summary of the project's programme.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool.
      AND
      'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Programme tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Project level Reports tool.
  2. Click Summary under the Programme Reports section.
  3. You will see a report with the following information:
Project Start and Finish

  • Actual Start: This field is pulled from the first programme task on the uploaded project programme. If no programme is uploaded, then you are able to manually update this field or it will be pulled from the "Estimated Start Date" field that was set upon project creation in the Admin tool.
  • Projected Finish: This field is pulled from the last programme task on the uploaded project programme. If no programme is uploaded, then you are able to manually update this field or it will inherit the date of the "Estimated Completion Date" field that was set upon project creation in the Admin tool.
  • Actual (Durations): This is the actual duration of the project from the start to finish dates.
  • Start Variance: This is the difference between the actual start time and the baseline start time as configured in the Microsoft Project programme.
  • Finish Variance: This is the difference between the actual finish time and the baseline finish time as configured in the Microsoft Project programme.
Recently Completed Tasks Since [Date]

Set the date by clicking on the date picker (calendar icon) and selecting the date. Click Go. This will display all of the recently completed tasks in the programme since that date.

  • ID: This is the number assigned to the programmed task in Procore.
  • Task Name: This is the title of the task in Procore. Click the title link to view the task in a new tab.
  • Resource: This lists the resource (if any) that was assigned to the task in the native scheduling software.
  • Actual Finish Date: This shows the actual finish date of the task as set in the native scheduling software.
Overdue Tasks as of [Today]

  • ID: This is the number assigned to the programmed task in Procore.

  • Task Name: This is the title of the task in Procore. Click the title link to view the task in a new browser tab.

  • Resource: This lists the resource (if any) that was assigned to the task in the native scheduling software.

  • Start Date: This is the date the task was marked to start.

  • Finish Date: This was the date the task was supposed to end on.

  • Complete: This displays the percent complete the task is. This can be updated in the native programme software.

Work in Progress as of [Today]

  • This displays the work that is happening and in progress on site today.
    • ID: This is the number assigned to the programmed task in Procore.
    • Task Name: This is the title of the task in Procore. Click the title link to view the task in a new browser tab.
    • Resource: This lists the resource (if any) that was assigned to the task in the native scheduling software.
    • Start Date: This is the date the task was marked to start.
    • Finish Date: This was the date the task was scheduled to end.
    • Complete: This displays the percent complete the task is. This can be updated in the native programme software.
Look Ahead Through [Date]

  • Set the date by clicking on the date picker (calendar icon) and selecting the date. Click Go. This displays all upcoming tasks until the date specified. 
    • ID: This is the number assigned to the programmed task in Procore.
    • Task Name: This is the title of the task in Procore. Click the title link to view the task in a new browser tab.
    • Resource: This lists the resource (if any) that was assigned to the task in the native scheduling software.
    • Start Date: This is the date the task was marked to start.
    • Finish Date: This was the date the task was scheduled to end on.
    • Complete: This displays the percent of which the task is complete. This can be updated in the native programme software.
