View Permission Groups for the Document Management Tool

The Document Management tool is currently in a Limited Release (Beta). It is not yet available for Procore accounts in the United States. For more information, please reach out to your Procore point of contact.

Objective

To view existing permission groups in the Document Management tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' level permissions to the project's Document Management tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.
  2. Click the Configure Settings icons-settings-gear.png icon.  
  3. Existing permission groups are shown In the 'Permission Groups' section of the Permissions tab.
    Note: Permission groups are organised by group name and the number of team members assigned to a permission group.
    • To search for a specific permission group, enter a term in the search bar.
      Matching groups are automatically shown. To clear the search and show all permission groups, click the x in the search bar.
    • To adjust how permission groups are sorted, clicking the Group Name or Team Members headers.
  4. To view details for an individual permission group, click on the name of a permission group.
    • Click the People tab to view the individuals who are assigned to the permission group.
    • Click the Permissions tab to view the upload and document permissions that are set.
    • When you are done viewing the permission group, click Close.
