Reopen a Coordination Issue

Objective

To reopen a coordination issue after it has been marked as complete or closed, letting all responsible parties know that the coordination issue needs further attention before it can be marked as complete and closed.

Background

Once a coordination issue has been created, it is sent to the assignee to be resolved. Once the assignee resolves the issue, they will mark the coordination issue as complete. This indicates the issue is ready to be reviewed by the coordination issues Admin. If the Admin approves the work, the coordination issue can be marked as closed. A closed coordination issue denotes that no further action is required on the coordination issue.

At any point after marking the coordination issue as complete or closed, the coordination issue can be reopened, which lets all responsible parties know that the coordination issue needs further attention before it can be closed.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • To reopen any co-ordination issue, 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Co-ordination Issues tool.
    • To reopen a co-ordination you created, 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Co-ordination Issues tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • A coordination issue must be in an 'Ready for Review' or 'Closed' status to be reopened.
    • 'Closed' issues do not appear in the Procore plugin. If you want to reopen an issue that is 'Closed', you can reopen it from the Coordination Issues tool.
