Export Information from the Document Management Tool
Objective
To export information from the project's Document Management tool.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions to the project's Document Management tool.
Note: You can only see documents that you have access to. How do permissions work in the Document Management tool?
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions to the project's Document Management tool.
- Additional Information:
- You can export from any tab in the Document Management tool and the export will respect applied filters and table settings.
- Exports are limited to 10,000 documents at one time.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.
- Click the tab that you want to export information from.
- By default, the export will include all information that exists on the tab. If you want to narrow down what's included in the export, the following actions are available:
- Use the search and filter options to find specific documents. See Search for and Filter Documents in the Document Management Tool.
- Make adjustments to the table settings and columns if necessary. See Configure Your View in the Document Management Tool.
- If you only want to select a few documents for the export, mark the tickbox next to each document you want to include.
- Click the Export menu and select CSV.
A CSV file will download to your computer.
