Create Programmed Work Entries
Objective
To create Programmed Work entries in the project's Site Diary tool.
Background
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- To create entries:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Site Diary tool.
- To create pending entries as a collaborator:
- 'Read Only' or 'Standard' permissions to the Site Diary tool with the 'Collaborator Entry Only' granular permission enabled on your permissions template. See Create Site Diary Entries as a Collaborator.
- To create entries:
- Additional Information:
- Information such as the resource and task name can be carried over to the Programmed Work log from the project's programme. If you want this information to be populated automatically, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
- A programme file, such as a Microsoft Project file, must be uploaded to the project's Programme tool. See Upload a Project Programme File to Procore's Web Application.
- The programme file must include resource assignments on the project's tasks. Refer to your programme programme's support resources for specific instructions.
- Information such as the resource and task name can be carried over to the Programmed Work log from the project's programme. If you want this information to be populated automatically, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Site Diary tool.
- Scroll to the Programmed Work section.
- Fill in the following information:
- Click Create.
