Manage Custom Statuses for Correspondence Types in Company Level Admin Tool (24/08/2022)

Procore has added the ability to create and delete custom statuses for correspondence types in the Company level Admin tool. See Manage Custom Statuses for Correspondence Types.

New Custom Fields & Configurable Fieldsets for Subcontractor Payment applications (14/07/2022)

Procore has added the ability to create custom fields in the Company level Admin tool for the Project level Payment applications tool. The new custom fields function like other custom fields in Procore. They can also be included in reports created with the Company and Project level Reports tools. Create Configurable Fieldsets, Custom Fields and Custom Sections for Change Events (11/07/2022)

Users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool can now create configurable fieldsets for the project's Change Events tool to designate which fields are required, optional or hidden within projects. See Create New Configurable Fieldsets and Which fields in the Change Events tool can be configured as required, optional or hidden? Procore has also added the ability to create custom fields in the Company level Admin tool for the project's Change Events tool. These custom fields function like other fields in Procore and can be included in reports in the Company and Project level Reports tools. See Create New Custom Fields. In addition, Procore has added the ability to create custom sections for the project's Change Events tool. Custom sections allow you to group custom fields together in one or more separate, user-defined sections. Custom sections are displayed below a change event's 'General Information' section. Phased Release of Work Breakdown Structure Complete (01/04/2022) 

Procore is pleased to announce that the phased rollout of Work Breakdown Structure that started on March 3, 2022 is now complete. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a robust, flexible method for organizing and reporting on financial information. It includes the new WBS user experience for cost codes, cost types and sub jobs in the Company and Project level Admin tools. You can now import cost codes, cost types and sub jobs as segment items to the Company or Project level Admin tool using the Procore Imports app. To learn about the release, see Introducing Work Breakdown Structure.

Introducing Work Breakdown Structure (03/03/2022)

Starting March 3, 2022 through approximately the end of the month, Procore is deploying a gradual, phased release of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). WBS is a robust, flexible method for organizing and reporting on financial information. The update includes the new WBS user experience in the Company and Project level Admin tools and it will be deployed to all Procore customers. To learn more, see Introducing Work Breakdown Structure. Updated Design for Creating Correspondence Types and Adding Template Correspondence Types (25/02/2022)

Procore has made design improvements to the steps for creating a correspondence type and adding template correspondence types. These two options are now accessible from the same button in the Correspondence settings of the Company level Admin tool. See Create a New Correspondence Type and Add a Template Correspondence Type. Additionally, when you create a new correspondence type, the system will suggest similarly named template correspondence types based on the text you enter for the correspondence type's name.

New Custom Field Types Added For the Project's Site Diary Tool (24/02/2022)

The following field types are now available to use for custom fields in the Manpower Diary, Notes Diary and Visitor Log: Rich Text, Tool User (Single Select), Project Directory User - (Single Select), and Project Directory User - (Multi-Select). See Create New Custom Fields.

Increased Character Limit for Correspondence Type Prefixes (11/01/2022)

Prefixes for correspondence types can now be up to 10 characters in length. See Create a New Correspondence Type and Edit a Correspondence Type.

New Option to Turn 'Correspondence Item Closed' Email Notifications On or Off (11/01/2022)

Procore has added a tickbox on correspondence types in the Company level Admin tool to allow users to decide whether email notifications are sent out when correspondence items created from one or more correspondence types are closed. Directory (Company Level)

Updates to 'Projects & Tenders' Tab in Company Details Pages (29/07/2022)

Procore has updated the table on the 'Projects & Tenders' tab in the Company Details pages to show more than 10 tenders. If there are more than 10 tenders to show, users can navigate through pages of additional tenders. The table itself has been renamed from 'Most Recent Tenders' to 'Tenders'. 'People' Tab and 'Default Tender Invitee List' Renamed on Company Records (12/07/2022)

On company records in the Company level Directory tool, Procore has renamed the 'People' tab and the 'Default Tender Invitee List'. The 'People' tab is now called 'Users' and the 'Default Tender Invitee List' is now called 'Bid Contacts'. See Add a Company to the Company Directory and Set Tenderer Information at the Company Level.

'Edit' Buttons Added to User Details and Company Details Pages (09/06/2022)

Procore has added Edit buttons to the User Details and Company Details pages in the Company level Directory tool. These buttons (shown only to users with the appropriate permissions to edit users and/or companies) allow users to easily switch between viewing a user or company and editing a user or company. 'Job Title' Column Added to Users Tab (09/06/2022)

Procore has added a 'Job Title' column to the Users tab in the Company level Directory tool. See Customise the Column Display in the Directory Tool.

New View-Only Mode for Microsoft Office 365® Files in the Documents Tool (10/03/2022) 

Procore has made a change to the Documents tool that allows users to view Microsoft files in the Microsoft Office 365 viewer without needing to sign in to an account. See View a File in Microsoft Office 365 Using the Documents Tool.  Previously, only users with a Microsoft Office 365 account could open Office 365 files from the Documents tool and the viewer automatically opened to Edit mode. Flexible Response Types for Inspection Items (19/09/2022)

'Multiple Response Set' renamed to 'Custom Response Set' (26/04/2022)

UPDATED 'MANAGE WBS CODES' GRANULAR PERMISSION FOR WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE (17/08/2022) 

Updated the 'Manage WBS Codes' granular permission in the permissions template feature (see Manage Permission Templates) for the Project level Admin tool. This granular permission can only be set for users with 'Standard' or 'Read Only' level permission to the project's Admin tool. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template. This permission continues to provide users with the privilege to Arrange the Project Budget Code Structure. For users participating in the Beta Program for the Work Breakdown Structure: Activate & Deactivate Project Level Budget Codes feature, the 'Manage WBS Codes' granular permission now also grants users the privilege to Activate Budget Codes on a Project and Deactivate Budget Codes on a Project

Global and Project Insurance Field Groups Added to Enhanced Reporting (09/06/2022)

Procore has added two new field groups to Enhanced Reporting for Financials: Company Global Insurance and Company Project Insurance. These columns allow users to add insurance information from the Company level Directory tool (global insurance) and from the Project level Directory tool (project insurance) to their custom company reports together with their financial data. See Create a Custom Company Report - Enhanced Reporting.

Enhanced Reporting for Financials (07/28/2022)

Procore has released various enhancements to the Company level Reports tool for reporting on Financial Management tools. Enhanced Reporting allows users to create reports with data from multiple and related Procore tools on both active and inactive projects with a modern, intuitive interface. Timecard (Company Level)

Updated Permissions for Company Level Timecard Tool (11/16/2020)

Users with 'Standard' level permissions on the Company level Timecard tool can now and delete their own timecard entries. To learn more, see Edit a Timecard Entry, and Delete a Timecard Entry. This is consistent with the required user permissions in Create a Timecard Entry. It also matches how users interact with time entries in other Procore tools (for example, My Time, Timesheets, and the Daily Log). 

API Support for 'Timesheet Hours' Column in Budget Views (10/4/2020)

For companies not using Procore's Field Productivity tools, you can now develop your own custom or third-party custom integration for inputting your timecard entries into Procore. Your custom integration can input your entries to Procore's Timecard tool using the API, which enables you to view timecard entries in the 'Timesheet Hours' column of a budget view. Added Project Region and Department Filters (09/21/2022)

Added 'None' filter options (04/28/2022)

To help in surfacing entries that are missing data, Procore has added the 'None' option to the following filters: Classification, Cost Code, Crews, Location, Sub Job, Time Type. See Search for and Filter Employee Timesheets.

Bidding (Project Level)

New Option for Tenderers to Submit Their tender to Procore by email (17/08/2022)

Invited tenderers can now submit a tender to Procore by replying to the tender invitation email with an attachment. See Submit a Tender. This means that tenderers have an alternative to logging into Procore's Planroom tool to submit a tender and tender submissions sent in this manner are automatically recorded in Procore. See Review Submitted Tenders. This option is meant to serve as an alternative to tenderers emailing a tender completely outside of Procore, where you would need to manually enter their place a tender on their behalf.

Tender management 2.0 (Beta): Convert a Tender to a Subcontract or Purchase Order (17/08/2022)

Similar to the original Tendering experience, Tender Management 2.0 now allows you to award a tender and convert it to a contract in the project's Commitments tool. See Award a Tender and Convert it to a Subcontract or Purchase Order.

Tender management 2.0 (Beta): Company and project level opt-in for beta (17/08/2022)

The Tender Management 2.0 beta experience can now be enabled by users at the Company or Project level, even for existing projects. See How do I opt in to the new Tendering experience?
Note: Users with 'Admin' permissions to a project's Tendering tool can enable the experience at the Project level for that particular project. Only Company level Admin users can enable the experience for all projects in the account.

Tender management 2.0 (Beta): level tenders (19/05/2022)

For users in the Tender Management 2.0 beta, you can now level tenders for tender forms in the Tendering tool. This allows you to easily compare received tenders so that you can more easily decide who to award a contract to. See Level Tenders for a Tender Form for more information.

Tender management 2.0 (Beta): create custom tender forms (19/05/2022)

For users in the Tender Management 2.0 beta, you can now create and manage custom tender forms in the Tendering tool. Tender forms make it easier to break down scope and cost information and help to standardise the responses that are being received from tenderers. In addition, the use of tender forms allows for tender levelling on submitted tenders. See Create a Tender Form.

'Division' Option in Group & Filter Menu Renamed 'Cost Code Tier 1' (04/04/2022)

Before Procore's Work Breakdown Structure release (see Introducing Work Breakdown Structure), there was a 'Division' option in the Filter menu of the Project level Budget tool. In Procore's WBS, the 'Cost Code' tier is a tiered segment, so this legacy 'Division' option has been renamed to 'Cost Code Tier 1'. Create CUSTOM SAVED VIEWS FOR MODERNISED CHANGE EVENTS  - Phased Release Complete (30/08/2022) 

Procore is pleased to announce that the phased rollout of the new custom saved views for the modernised Change Events list view is complete. For Procore users participating in the Beta program for the New Change Events Line Items View, this feature allows companies create and save custom views (see Set up Configurable Views for the Change Events Line Items View) in the modernised Change Events list. Procore has started a phased release of a new capability within the Change Events Modernised List View. The new change events view is gradually being released to all Change Events users who are using the new Change Events list view (see . Commitments (Project Level)

Added a New Choose Delimiter Option for Bill of Quantities Imports (12/09/2022)

Procore added a new option in the 'Import Bill of Quantities from CSV' window that lets you choose the character used as a delimiter. A delimiter is a character used to separate values or text strings. It marks both the beginning and end of a unit of data. This supports Procore clients who work in regions where a comma (,) is used to represent a decimal symbol and the list separator is generally set to a semicolon (;).  To learn more, see Import Commitment BOQ Line Items from a CSV File.

New 'Send SBOQ Notification' Button (11/04/2022)

If the 'Subcontractor BOQ' tab is enabled on the Project level Commitments tool (see Enable or Disable the Subcontractor BOQ Tab on the Commitments Tool) payment application administrators can now click a 'Send SBOQ Notification' button. This sends an email message to the payment application contact to alert the user to complete line item breakdown in the Subcontractor Bill of Quantities. Modernised Experience for the Commitments Tool (11/04/2022)

To provide you with a modernised interface and optimizations to improve your ability to create and manage contracts more efficiently, Procore is pleased to announce the general availability of a new experience in the Commitments tool. Users will be permitted to exit out of the modernised experience and return to the legacy experience until the end of Q3 2022. After the end Q3 2022, the legacy experience will be removed and users will be required to use the new experience. To learn more about this release, see Project Financials: Modernised Experience for the Commitments Tool.

Financial Management: New Admin & Collaborator Views for Subcontractor Payment applications (23/03/2022)

On March 23, 2022, the redesigned subcontractor payment application beta experience was turned ON in all project's using the Commitments and Payment applications tools. To give users time to preview the design changes, Procore is providing users with the option to switch between the beta and legacy experience until February 2023. After February 2023, the ability exit out of the beta experience will be removed and the legacy experience will no longer be available in Procore. COMPLETED THE UPDATE FOR IMPORTING A BILL OF QUANTITIES FROM A CSV FILE (08/03/2022)  

On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Procore began deploying an updated user experience for importing a commitment's 'Bill of Quantities' from a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. The deployment was completed on March 8, 2022. Both the legacy experience and the modernised beta experience of the Main Contracts tools now have the new Bill of Quantities import experience. Updated the User Experience for Importing a Bill of Quantities from a CSV File (24/02/2022) 

On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Procore began deploying an updated user experience for importing a commitment's 'Bill of Quantities' from a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. The new experience will be gradually deployed to Procore users over the next week and will be available to users in both the legacy and beta experience of the project's Commitments tool. New Always Editable Bill of Quantities Option on the Commitments Tool (15/02/2022)

To provide users with ability to refine contract values on a commitment's Bill of Quantities without having to issue a commitment variation, Procore has added a new 'Enable Always Editable Bill of Quantities' configuration setting on the project's Commitments tools. This setting is similar to one with the same name in the Project level Client Contracts, Main Contracts and Funding tools. It is recommended that you turn this setting ON before your team starts creating payment applications or progress billings on a project. Updated the Behaviour of the Payment application # Field for Subcontractor Payment applications (11/02/2022)

When creating or editing a subcontractor payment application, users have the option to enter a value in the Payment application # field. Users can continue to leave this field blank. However, if you choose to enter a value in this field, Procore now requires the value to be unique to each payment application on a commitment. New 'Procore Documents' Plugin for Navisworks® (07/09/2022) 

Procore has released a new plugin for Navisworks® that allows users to easily access files stored in the project's Documents tool. Users can open and append files, as well as save new NWF files back to Procore. This integration helps empower team members to keep files up to date and reduce the risk of rework. Daily Log (Project Level)

Site diary modernization (06/05/2022)

Procore users will now see a modernised and more consistent UI across the Site Diary. The Search Results and Multi-day views now use the latest components and maintain a consistent user-experience with the single-day "List" view. In addition, we have added a 'Status' filter, allowing users to filter down Site Diary entries by the Approved, Pending and Rejected statuses. With this release, pending Site Diary entries can be approved or rejected from the list view. See Approve or Reject Site Diary Entries. Procore has added the ability for users to view and download Revit® files (.rvt) in the project's Documents tool. Generally, most contractors of a company do not have the ability to view Revit files because of not having access to the Revit application. New View-Only Mode for Microsoft Office 365® Files in the Documents Tool (10/03/2022) 

Procore has made a change to the Documents tool that allows users to view Microsoft files in the Microsoft Office 365 viewer without needing to sign in to an account. See View a File in Microsoft Office 365 Using the Documents Tool.  Previously, only users with a Microsoft Office 365 account could open Office 365 files from the Documents tool and the viewer automatically opened to Edit mode. Procore has increased the custom field limit for each component of the Incidents tool from 10 to 15. New Body Parts Diagram in 'Body Parts Affected' Menu (6/30/2020)

Procore has added a body parts diagram feature to the 'Body Parts Affected' section of the Injury/Illness Record in the Incidents tool. You can use the body parts diagram to select which part of the body is affected when recording an injury or illness incident. The body diagram distinguishes between upper and lower body parts, front and back and internal organs such as the heart and lungs. See Add an Injury/Illness Record to an Incident.

Create Custom Fields for Incidents Tool (29/5/2020)

Users with Admin level permissions on the Company level Admin tool can configure a colour-coded scale for the severity of injury/illness records based on the records' filing types. Alerts in the form of email or push notifications sent to specified recipient groups can also be configured based on the injury/illness records' severity. Similar to the functionality of the mobile viewer for the Models tool, Procore has added an 'Objects' feature to the web viewer. This feature allows you to view a file tree of objects from the model file so that you can show or hide specific elements while viewing the model. See View a Model.

Dynamic 2D Views Now Available for the Models Tool on iPads (05/07/2021)

Procore has released a new feature, Dynamic 2D Views, for the Models tool on the Procore app for iPads. See Getting Started Guide for Dynamic 2D Views in the Models Tool. This feature allows field teams to see specific dimensions of objects on a coordinated model with a tap of the screen. Users can quickly zoom in and out to see the centerline or outside dimensions of any objects within the model. See View Models (iOS) and Why aren't my grids aligned in the Models tool?

Being able to examine the dimensions further also helps teams ensure that everything will be installed exactly according to the plan. You can also use the new 'Tape Measure' feature to make additional measurements. See Measure Distances on a Model (iOS). With the Dynamic 2D Views feature allowing you to create elevation drawings directly from the model, you won't need to recreate lift drawings in a different authoring solution.

When two or more people are viewing the same model in the Models tool, the names of active users are shown on their current locations in the model. After clicking the Active Collaborators icon, you can select a specific user to follow in the model. Added a New Choose Delimiter Option for Bill of Quantities Imports (12/09/2022)

Procore added a new option in the 'Import Bill of Quantities from CSV' window that lets you choose the character used as a delimiter. A delimiter is a character used to separate values or text strings. It marks both the beginning and end of a unit of data. This supports Procore clients who work in regions where a comma (,) is used to represent a decimal symbol and the list separator is generally set to a semicolon (;).  To learn more, see Import a Main Contract BOQ from a CSV File.

Completed the Update for Importing a Bill of Quantities from a CSV File (08/03/2022) 

On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Procore began deploying an updated user experience for importing a main contract's 'Bill of Quantities' from a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. The deployment was completed on March 8, 2022. Both the legacy experience and the modernised beta experience of the Main Contracts tools now have the new Bill of Quantities import experience. Updated the User Experience for Importing a Bill of Quantities from a CSV File (24/02/2022)

Copy Previous Timesheet from Any Day (01/08/2022)

Procore has updated Project level Timesheets, allowing you to copy a Timesheet from any previously submitted Timesheet that you have access to. A new display and filters when using the mobile experience provide context, makes it easy to find the Timesheet you're looking for. Lastly, when creating Timesheets for previous days, Timesheets are now created on the specific day that you navigated to. Intuitive Time Entry and Project Defaults (31/05/2022)

Procore has updated Project level settings for Timesheets, allowing you to set your project's default Start Time, Stop Time and Lunch Time to reflect your working hours. Default values will be displayed when entering time in Timesheets and My Time. Additionally, when adding a new line in Timesheets and My Time, the new line's Start Time will account for time already entered. New Subcontractor Section in the Project T&M Tickets Tool (5/18/2021)

Procore has updated the Project level T&M Tickets tool with a new ‘Subcontractor’ section that can be turned ON or OFF in the Company level Admin tool. This new section provides your field teams with the ability to record any work performed on your behalf by your sub-tier subcontractors. It lets you attach any relevant backup documentation to your T&M ticket--ensuring that your clients can easily verify the work and you can seamlessly transfer this information to a change event. See Create a Change Event from a T&M Ticket. The only requirement is that the subcontractor you select must have a company record in the Project level Directory tool (see Add a Company to the Project Directory). 

Download a PDF Copy of a T&M Ticket from a Change Event 'Description' (4/22/2021)

Procore has updated the project's Change Events tool, so when you Create a Change Event from a T&M Ticket or Add a T&M Ticket to a Change Event, you can now click a new Download PDF link in the 'Description' field of the change event to quickly review the T&M Ticket. You can also launch the T&M Tickets tool to view the ticket in Procore by clicking the View Ticket link. For details on this update, see View a Change Event and T&M Tickets: New Connected Change Management Workflows. File attachments on T&M Tickets are also transferred to the 'Attachments' section of the change event, so you can download them with a single click.

New Connected Change Management Workflows (3/15/2021)

Procore has updated the Bulk Actions menu in the project's T&M tickets tool to provide you with the ability to add T&M tickets to a new or existing change event. Line item entries to selected T&M tickets can now be added to a change event, streamlining how you generate change orders to get paid for work performed. Moved the 'Classifications' Tab to the Project Admin Tool (2/22/2021)  

For users who set up and assign classifications to employees and workers for use with the T&M Tickets tool, Procore has moved the settings in the 'Classifications' tab of the Timesheets tool to a new 'Classifications' tab in the Project level Admin tool. Users can now also configure which classifications are available for use with Procore's project timekeeping tools. New Signature Requests for T&M Tickets (12/7/2020)

Procore has updated the T&M Tickets tool so you can now request a customer signature. This gives your customer signee's more flexibility when verifying T&M Tickets and also removes the need to interact in person. When you create a T&M ticket, you can instantly send your customer signee a signature request by email. Signees also have the ability to draw their signature from their desk using either the Procore web application or from the convenience of the field using Procore for Mobile (Android & iOS).
